More Stories of Red Hatter Adventures

Dressing up in red hats, poodle skirts, and purple boas are only one aspect of what Red Hatters do at their events. Red Hatters definitely know how to have a fun time while dressing up in fun outfits and poodle skirts. Here are some of the activities these women decided to do within the past few years.

Red Hatters in California celebrated a Red Hat Society Day. 15 Northern California chapters celebrated the event, with visitors even coming all the way from Indiana. They celebrated the Red Hat Society Day by crossing the Sundial Bridge in Redding, California.

One woman, Delores Barton, decided to keep her Red Hat sisters involved in her vacation plans. Leaving her home in Kawaiisu, Indonesia, Barton involved her sisters by sending them updates and pictures of her cruise. She was able to cruise around the world and share the adventure with her sisters thanks to the Red Hat Society discussion board.

A chapter in St. Louis, Missouri decided to have a luncheon at the St. Louis Science Center. The Red Hat Mini-Makers really enjoyed learning new things with the science exhibits there. They especially enjoyed the newest exhibit "Sue, the T.Rex".

The Brighton Belles, of England, took a historic tour as well. They visited the Brighton Dome in all their colorful garb. They also got a kick out of being featured in the background of a program that was being filmed there.

21 European chapters decided to head to Italy for their event. They stayed in Italy for a 4 day retreat. They enjoyed attending cooking workshops, visiting the opera, and taking beautiful evening walks with one another.

In Mount Cootha, Australia Red Hat sisters decided to go the artistic route. The Small Talk Red Hatters went to the Gallery of Modern Art in Brisbane. They enjoyed the dramatic red artwork that was being showcased.
